As of today, July 1st, southern Oregon anglers have an increased chance of taking home that delicious salmon dinner. ODFW regulations change from having to release all native chinook salmon to being able to keep native salmon below Dodge Bridge. Not familiar with “Dodge Bridge”, it is a boat ramp on the rogue just 6 miles from Eagle Point or around 8 miles from Shady Cove. This change often drives more fishermen and woman out to the River in hopes of taking home their prize.
Gregory and Rose were able to get in the boat and have many chances for a king salmon. Reeling in 3 and not being able to keep the bite away from their bait. This made for an exciting day for all. Looks like you two had so much fun fishing for salmon on the Rogue River. We look forward to our next couple of days together.
